Madison-Mayodan Recreation Commission

The Madison-Mayodan Recreation Department is overseen by it’s Commission that meets every other month on the 3rd Tuesday. The Commission is made up of 8 members who volunteer to serve for a 3 year term;

  • Town Manager of Madison
  • 1 member of Town of Madison’s Board
  • 2 Madison citizens as appointed by the Town of Madison
  • Town Manager of Mayodan
  • 1 member the Town of Mayodan’s Board
  • 2 Mayodan citizens as appointed by the Town of Mayodan

The Commission elects officers at the first meeting of each new year (Chairman, ice-Chairman and Secretary).
